A useful quotation depends on the load, access and timing—not a bedroom count alone.
Volume and handling
List furniture, boxes, fragile pieces and anything unusually heavy. A short video survey helps with larger or uncertain loads.
Access at both ends
Tell us about floors, lifts, stairs, parking distance, restricted streets and loading windows.
Waiting for keys or access
We allow up to 60 minutes of additional waiting at the delivery address at no extra charge where access or keys are unexpectedly delayed. After this, waiting is charged in 30-minute increments at £50 per hour for a vehicle with one operative or £75 per hour for a two-person crew. Larger crews or specialist vehicles may be charged at a separately agreed rate. If access cannot be obtained within a reasonable period, any storage, redelivery or additional costs will be discussed with you before further charges are incurred.
Normal quoted loading and unloading time is included as part of the move. The delivery-side free waiting allowance does not create a separate collection allowance. If loading cannot start or is significantly delayed because packing, access, keys, inventory or furniture preparation differs from what was agreed, additional waiting may be charged according to the confirmed booking terms.

A larger vehicle or multiple-vehicle plan may be required for heavily furnished two-bedroom homes, homes with three or more bedrooms, garages, loft contents, garden equipment, unusually large furniture or high-volume moves.
Tail-lift vehicles are available where required. Tail-lift availability is confirmed at quotation or booking rather than assumed for every Luton.
