How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the wood waste disposal at your Macduff address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm a written figure covering the agreed labour, transport and disposal requirements for your collection in Macduff. Any change in scope is discussed before work continues.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The collected wood waste disposal from Macduff is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
Wood Waste Disposal starts from £95. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
What we do and do not take
Treated, painted and tanalised timber is a separate grade. Railway sleepers and creosote-treated wood are hazardous and outside our scope.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
Wood Waste Disposal FAQs
Is clean wood cheaper to dispose of?
Noticeably. A clean timber load from Macduff prices below a mixed one because the facility recovers nearly all of it.
Can you take treated or painted wood?
Standard painted and treated timber, yes. Creosote-treated sleepers are hazardous waste and need a specialist.
Can you collect the same day in Macduff?
Often, yes. Same-day wood waste disposal in Macduff depends on vehicle availability at the time you call. If we cannot reach you today we will say so rather than take the booking and let you down.
How much does wood waste disposal cost in Macduff?
Wood Waste Disposal in Macduff starts from £95. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
Can you handle difficult access?
Yes. Stairs, lifts, long carries, narrow lanes and permit bays are all workable at Macduff properties — we just need to know in advance so the right crew and vehicle are sent.
Why do you ask for photographs?
Because guessing is how customers get stung. Photographs let us size the Macduff vehicle, crew and disposal route correctly, so the price we quote for your wood waste disposal is the price you pay.
What happens to the waste after collection?
It goes to a licensed transfer station where it is separated. Recoverable material from Macduff collections is recycled, and only the residual fraction goes to final disposal.
