How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the sofa removal at your Wick address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm one fixed figure covering labour, transport and licensed disposal for the Wick collection. Nothing is added afterwards.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The Wick sofa removal is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
Sofa Removal starts from £95. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
Collecting in Wick
Wick sits in Highland, within Scotland. We collect from Wick, Thurso, John O'Groats and Halkirk and the surrounding streets. Collections are planned around access, parking and permit restrictions before the vehicle is dispatched.
What we do and do not take
Sofa collection and disposal. Where a suite will not fit through the opening it came in by, dismantling is quoted separately.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
Sofa Removal FAQs
What if the sofa will not fit through the door?
Send a photograph of the sofa and the doorway. If a Wick suite needs cutting down, we quote the labour up front rather than surprising you on the day.
Do you take corner sofas?
Yes. Corner units are collected in sections where they separate, and priced by the volume they occupy in the van.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip in Wick?
Frequently. There is no permit to buy, no driveway lost for a week, and you only pay for the space the waste actually occupies. For small and medium sofa removal loads in Wick, a wait-and-load collection usually wins on both price and speed.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Every Wick collection is carried out by a registered waste carrier and taken to a licensed facility. Waste transfer documentation is issued where duty of care applies.
Can you collect the same day in Wick?
Often, yes. Same-day sofa removal in Wick depends on vehicle availability at the time you call. If we cannot reach you today we will say so rather than take the booking and let you down.
How much does sofa removal cost in Wick?
Sofa Removal in Wick starts from £95. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
Can you handle difficult access?
Yes. Stairs, lifts, long carries, narrow lanes and permit bays are all workable at Wick properties — we just need to know in advance so the right crew and vehicle are sent.

Moving as well as clearing in Wick?
Clearances often sit either side of a move. If you need the furniture that is staying taken to a new address in Wick, that is a removals job rather than a waste job — and it is priced separately.
