How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the hardcore removal at your Grimethorpe address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm a written figure covering the agreed labour, transport and disposal requirements for your collection in Grimethorpe. Any change in scope is discussed before work continues.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The collected hardcore removal from Grimethorpe is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
Hardcore Removal starts from £160. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
What we do and do not take
Inert, uncontaminated material only. Contaminated or made-ground spoil requires testing and a specialist disposal route.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
Hardcore Removal FAQs
How is hardcore priced?
By weight, not by the look of the pile. Give us rough dimensions of the Grimethorpe area lifted and we convert it into tonnes and trips before quoting.
Can you take contaminated ground?
No. Anything suspected of contamination needs laboratory testing and a permitted disposal route — a general carrier cannot legally move it.
How much does hardcore removal cost in Grimethorpe?
Hardcore Removal in Grimethorpe starts from £160. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
Can you handle difficult access?
Yes. Stairs, lifts, long carries, narrow lanes and permit bays are all workable at Grimethorpe properties — we just need to know in advance so the right crew and vehicle are sent.
Why do you ask for photographs?
Because guessing is how customers get stung. Photographs let us size the Grimethorpe vehicle, crew and disposal route correctly, so the price we quote for your hardcore removal is the price you pay.
What happens to the waste after collection?
It goes to a licensed transfer station where it is separated. Recoverable material from Grimethorpe collections is recycled, and only the residual fraction goes to final disposal.
Do I need to be there?
Not always. If the hardcore removal is accessible from outside at the Grimethorpe property, we can collect with photographs, written instructions and payment agreed in advance.
