How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the general waste collection at your Erith address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm a written figure covering the agreed labour, transport and disposal requirements for your collection in Erith. Any change in scope is discussed before work continues.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The collected general waste collection from Erith is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
General Waste Collection starts from £95. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
What we do and do not take
General waste only. Food waste in commercial volumes, clinical waste and hazardous streams are handled by specialist contractors.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
General Waste Collection FAQs
Can I book general waste collection without a contract?
Yes. Most Erith customers book ad hoc and repeat only when they need to. No minimum term, no exit fee.
What counts as general waste?
Non-hazardous, non-recyclable material — mixed packaging, contaminated cardboard, general refuse. If it is one clean stream, it usually prices lower as a recycled load.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip in Erith?
Frequently. There is no permit to buy, no driveway lost for a week, and you only pay for the space the waste actually occupies. For small and medium general waste collection loads in Erith, a wait-and-load collection usually wins on both price and speed.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Every Erith collection is carried out by a registered waste carrier and taken to a licensed facility. Waste transfer documentation is issued where duty of care applies.
Can you collect the same day in Erith?
Often, yes. Same-day general waste collection in Erith depends on vehicle availability at the time you call. If we cannot reach you today we will say so rather than take the booking and let you down.
How much does general waste collection cost in Erith?
General Waste Collection in Erith starts from £95. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
Can you handle difficult access?
Yes. Stairs, lifts, long carries, narrow lanes and permit bays are all workable at Erith properties — we just need to know in advance so the right crew and vehicle are sent.

Moving as well as clearing in Erith?
Clearances often sit either side of a move. If you need the furniture that is staying taken to a new address in Erith, that is a removals job rather than a waste job — and it is priced separately.
