How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the cooker disposal at your Horsforth address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm a written figure covering the agreed labour, transport and disposal requirements for your collection in Horsforth. Any change in scope is discussed before work continues.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The collected cooker disposal from Horsforth is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
Cooker Disposal starts from £95. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
What we do and do not take
Electric appliances only unless the gas supply has already been capped by a Gas Safe engineer. We do not disconnect gas.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
Cooker Disposal FAQs
Can you take a gas cooker?
Only once a Gas Safe engineer has disconnected and capped the supply. We will not touch a live gas connection at any Horsforth address, and anyone who offers to is worth avoiding.
Do you remove built-in ovens?
If it has already been unscrewed and pulled clear of the housing, yes. Removing it from fitted cabinetry is a fitter's job, not a waste carrier's.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip in Horsforth?
Frequently. There is no permit to buy, no driveway lost for a week, and you only pay for the space the waste actually occupies. For small and medium cooker disposal loads in Horsforth, a wait-and-load collection usually wins on both price and speed.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Every Horsforth collection is carried out by a registered waste carrier and taken to a licensed facility. Waste transfer documentation is issued where duty of care applies.
Can you collect the same day in Horsforth?
Often, yes. Same-day cooker disposal in Horsforth depends on vehicle availability at the time you call. If we cannot reach you today we will say so rather than take the booking and let you down.
How much does cooker disposal cost in Horsforth?
Cooker Disposal in Horsforth starts from £95. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.
Can you handle difficult access?
Yes. Stairs, lifts, long carries, narrow lanes and permit bays are all workable at Horsforth properties — we just need to know in advance so the right crew and vehicle are sent.

Moving as well as clearing in Horsforth?
Clearances often sit either side of a move. If you need the furniture that is staying taken to a new address in Horsforth, that is a removals job rather than a waste job — and it is priced separately.
