How it works
- STEP 1
Send photographs
Snap the bulky waste collection at your Alnwick address and send it on WhatsApp. Photographs are the single biggest factor in quote accuracy — the more you send, the tighter the fixed price.
- STEP 2
Receive a fixed price
We assess volume, weight and access, then confirm one fixed figure covering labour, transport and licensed disposal for the Alnwick collection. Nothing is added afterwards.
- STEP 3
Choose your slot
Same-day, next-day, weekend and evening windows are offered subject to vehicle availability. You get a confirmed window rather than an all-day wait.
- STEP 4
We load and clear
The crew arrives with the correct vehicle, loads everything by hand, and sweeps up. The Alnwick bulky waste collection is weighed and documented at a licensed facility afterwards.
What affects the price
Bulky Waste Collection starts from £95. Your fixed price is confirmed once we have seen photographs.
- Timing — weekend, evening and emergency slots carry an uplift
- Location — travel beyond the included mileage is charged at the vehicle rate
- Volume — how much of the van the load actually fills
- Weight — dense material such as rubble, soil and concrete costs more at the gate
- Waste type — recycling routes are cheaper than general disposal
- Access — stairs, long carries and restricted parking add labour time
Collecting in Alnwick
Alnwick sits in Northumberland, within North East England. We collect from Alnwick, Amble, Rothbury and Warkworth and the surrounding streets. Collections are planned around access, parking and permit restrictions before the vehicle is dispatched.
What we do and do not take
Non-hazardous bulky items only. We do not take gas bottles, paint, chemicals, tyres or anything containing asbestos, and we cannot collect from a highway without the owner present.
All waste is collected by registered waste carriers and taken to licensed facilities. Waste transfer documentation is provided where applicable.
Bulky Waste Collection FAQs
Why not just use the council in Alnwick?
Use them if the wait suits you and your items fit their list — it is often cheaper. We exist for the weeks when the diary is full, the item count is capped, or nobody can carry a sofa down two flights.
Do I need to put items outside?
No. We collect from wherever the item stands, including upstairs, and take the doors and stairs into account when quoting.
Is there an item limit?
Only the van. Send a photograph of everything going and the price covers the lot.
Is this cheaper than hiring a skip in Alnwick?
Frequently. There is no permit to buy, no driveway lost for a week, and you only pay for the space the waste actually occupies. For small and medium bulky waste collection loads in Alnwick, a wait-and-load collection usually wins on both price and speed.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes. Every Alnwick collection is carried out by a registered waste carrier and taken to a licensed facility. Waste transfer documentation is issued where duty of care applies.
Can you collect the same day in Alnwick?
Often, yes. Same-day bulky waste collection in Alnwick depends on vehicle availability at the time you call. If we cannot reach you today we will say so rather than take the booking and let you down.
How much does bulky waste collection cost in Alnwick?
Bulky Waste Collection in Alnwick starts from £95. The final figure depends on volume, weight and access. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we confirm a fixed price rather than an hourly guess.

Moving as well as clearing in Alnwick?
Clearances often sit either side of a move. If you need the furniture that is staying taken to a new address in Alnwick, that is a removals job rather than a waste job — and it is priced separately.
